Check in & departure times
Check in between 4pm and 7pm.
Outside of these times is on request only and it really helps if you can tell us which hour you will arrive; Please text or WhatsApp on the morning.
There is a fee of €25 for arrivals after 9pm. Check out is by 11am.

Earlier or late check in/outs can be difficult as our team need time to prepare your room.

We are strictly non-smoking in both house and grounds. There is a chapel outside the villa where we recommend you smoke.
Parking
Secure, guaranteed parking is available in the town centre for €5 per night. A must in high season when the car park is usually full. Please let us know if you need a parking space.
It is a beautiful 5-10 minute walk through the picturesque ancient village centre to Villa le Ortensie.
Luggage transfer
Staff (and our special little car) are available to transfer large suitcases between 16:00 - 19:00 and again from 08:00 - 11:00 for check out.
It helps if you tell us in advance if you need help with your luggage.

Deposits
We only take a deposit on group bookings. We take a credit card to guarantee your reservation but please tell us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change your booking.
Cancellation policy
If you cancel less that 7 days before arrival then we will charge the full amount. We will try to resell your room. We strongly advise that you have travel insurance to cover you if you need to cancel

Minimum stays
We recommend a minimum stay of 3 nights in order to fully unwind and enjoy your visit to Lake Como and our charming, relaxed guesthouse.
There is so much to explore on and around Lake Como; take your time to soak up all the beauty, the culture, the scenery!

During the high season there is a 3 night minimum stay in all our rooms.
It is usually possible to book a 2 night stay in mid season. Occasionally we have 1 night stays available.

High season: Easter, May, June, July, August & September
Mid Season: March, April, October

Whole house bookings are perfect for group walks, hikers, bikers, yogis, artists or family members. When a wedding is taking place nearby, why not hire out the whole house for your guests? Whole house bookings can be made at any time of year. Christmas and New Year is particularly wonderful on Lake Como with light shows, Christmas festivals, fireworks and outdoor markets to explore.
How to pay
A credit card is needed to secure your booking via our secure online facility.
We accept Debit Card, Visa or Mastercard for payment.
Payment is on departure; we can also take a BACS bank transfer or cash. We do not take Diners or American Express.

The nearest cash points are in Torno or Nesso. There are no cash points in Molina.
